Summer Seminar 2026

This year’s Summer Seminar has come to a close, and we are filled with gratitude for the many people who helped make it such a meaningful gathering.

Our sincere thanks go to facilitators Derrick Gay, Homa Tavangar, Tim Kelley, Robert Landau, and Tim Carr, whose insight, generosity, and leadership created space for rich conversation, deeper reflection, and fresh perspective on the opportunities and challenges shaping international school leadership today. We are equally grateful to our sponsors—SkoolSpot, Search Associates, Learning Without Tears, and FARIA Education—for their support in helping bring this experience to life.

We also extend heartfelt thanks to our hosts at Pickering College, to Head of School Cinde Lock, and to the entire Pickering team for their warmth, hospitality, and hard work behind the scenes. Their support helped create not only a successful seminar, but a welcoming environment where professional friendships could be strengthened and new connections formed.

Planning for Next Year! 

Missed this year's event? Plan to join us next summer in Europe! While we are still working to find the perfect location, details of the event will be available to allow ample time to build your attendance into the summer of 2027. 

The AISH Summer Seminar is a dedicated gathering for Heads and Deputy Heads of international schools—a time to learn, connect, and step away from the day-to-day demands of school leadership.

Summer Seminar combines thoughtful professional learning with space to unwind, reflect, and enjoy the company of colleagues who understand the realities of international school leadership. The event is as much about relationships and renewal as it is about ideas and practice.  This shared experience creates an open, trusting environment where conversations are honest, supportive, and relevant.
