development opportunities throughout the year.

AISH OASIS |

Presented for the AISH member body
annually in February, this one of a kind event brings AISH
members together with invited guests offering a professional
development session on a specific topic, luncheon and annual
board meeting. The 2006
first annual AISH oasis proved to be a successful event with
over 80 members and invited guests attending in San Francisco.

take place in New York, 21 February 2008. |

SUMMER SEMINAR |

REFLECT ~ CONNECT ~ RENEW.
Offered in July annually, this
5
day seminar is open to all school heads, directors, and deputy
heads. AISH members and non-members are welcome. Special guest presenters with a focused topic,
core staff presenters, and home group facilitators make this a
truly unique seminar event designed specifically for
international school heads and deputy heads.
Held in a new
location each year, the summer of 2008 Summer Seminar takes
place in Boston..

New & Aspiring
HEADS |

Is an international headship in your
future? You can develop the skill you need at the annual
AISH New and Aspiring Heads Institute. This 2 day event brings
both new and
aspiring heads together to learn how the process of securing a
position as an international school head works; what the most
essential skills to focus on are as a school head; how the
headship is different from the principalship; what to do in the
first 100 days; and what the most common pitfalls are for a new
school head. Offered this
year Boston. This institute is
a 'must have' for any aspiring head.

AISH often presents one-day
pre-conference workshops and seminars at many regional
events throughout the year. All seminars and
workshops offer a specific topic designed for international
heads, and aspiring heads. Information about upcoming
workshops or seminars at regional association events will be
posted to the AISH website as they are scheduled. |
